LocalStorage Manager is a Chrome extension that lets you view, edit, search, and export localStorage and sessionStorage entries for any web page. Your privacy is important, and this extension is designed to keep all data local to your browser.

Data Collection

LocalStorage Manager does not collect, store, transmit, or share any data externally. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected.
• No browsing history is recorded.
• No storage data leaves your browser.
• No analytics or tracking scripts are used.
• No cookies are set by the extension.
• No data is sent to external servers.

How It Works

LocalStorage Manager uses chrome.scripting.executeScript to read localStorage and sessionStorage entries from the currently active tab. Data is displayed in a popup panel and is never stored beyond the popup session. Edits, additions, and deletions are applied directly to the page's storage via the same scripting API. User preferences (such as display settings) may be saved locally using chrome.storage.local.

Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

• storage — Used for saving user preferences locally on your device.
• activeTab — Required to identify the currently active tab and access its storage data when the popup is opened.
• scripting — Required to execute scripts in the active tab's context to read and modify localStorage and sessionStorage entries.

Third-Party Services

LocalStorage Manager does not use any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs.
